If Merriam-Webster defines the Ivory Tower as "a secluded place that affords the means of treating practical issues with an impractical often escapist attitude," then the Onyx Tower is a globally relevant and universally accessible place that facilitates progression toward excellence through self-determined interest in practical issues and actionable problems.

The Onyx Mission is to provide the world's highest quality digital educational experience for learners and educators of all kinds around the world.

The Onyx Vision is for learners around the world to have access to fairly priced, high quality, self-directed educational experiences that are directly relevant to their lives and result in tangible learning outcomes

We aim to provide $10,000 grants in the future to Onyx members to support their projects developing themselves and their world.

Onyx Sponsorships will equate to a free Associateship, including the corresponding salary and opportunities.

Each year 17 teams of Onyx League students will be tasked with diagnosing a problem corresponding to a UN Sustainable Development goal, proposing a solution, and presenting at The Onyx Gala for the opportunity to lead an Onyx Action Team devoted to their solution.

The Onyx Award will be an annual $100,000 award for Onyx members pursuing undergraduate study in the United States of America.
